Greeting to you,
It really give me great pleasure to inform you all today at the opening ceremony. On the behalf on Debo Rescue Foundation May I welcome the Sarpanch, Vice Sarpanch, All the member of Gram Panchayat,Police officer from Talegaon MIDC Police station & Police Patil and also all of you those who gathered here for the Opening Ceremony of Senior Citizen Care & Rehabilitations Centre.

On the occasion of completed Four years for Debo Rescue Foundation we are very Glad to announce you about our New Project Senior Citizen Care & Rehabilitation Centre. I would like to talk with you about the Aim and Object of our Project (Senior Citizen Care & Rehabilitations Centre).

Importance of old age home :
Old age home is the home for those who have no family or have no one to take care. When a person becomes senior citizen he or she comes to a very sensitive age in his or her life. As it is said a child or an aged person is one and the same thing, their behaviour, their need or the amount of care needed becomes the same as that of a new born baby. The aged people need a lot of care. They need a good amount of care, respect, dignity and effort so that they can die peacefully. I know senior citizens prefer to stay in their own home, whatever critical problems they face as many happy and sorry memories of their lives mingle with their sweet home. But they should try to overcome this kind of emotions and be practical. However, nothing is more important than life.

Admitting these difficulties, many people may suggest a quick solution, “Why do you not keep an attendant(s) to look after your parents at home?”So you have to keep it in mind that in most of the cases of murder-and-loot, attendants remain involved and in some cases they are the master-minds. So why should you take the risk? Why should you trust a person so easily? But, in the following cases, I think, keeping your parents in an old-age-home is unethical and immoral.

1. If you have enough ability to keep your parents with you where you work.
2. If you find old-age-home as an only and fair solution to the arguments developed with your parents and your spouse (in some cases, with you).
3. If you find old-age-home as an only and fair solution to hold back your uncontrollable lifestyle from your parents.

Old age homes are required when we can’t provide the right amount of love and care to our elderly loved ones. And when we can’t give them the proper attention that is the moment when we need the help of Old age home. I wish your parents never need to face that day but if any situation comes in your life when you feel you need to send them old age home then you can,Our Staff will make possible effort to make their stay comfortable and relaxing so that they can also enjoy their life.
